Only a choice group of attorneys are selected by the NADC each year. Specifically, less than one percent of all practicing attorneys in the United States are selected. The process for joining the NADC is highly selective. Members are either identified by an in-house research team or they are nominated by peers, clients, or current NADC members. Once prospective candidates are chosen, a thorough examination of the candidates is conducted by NADC researchers. From there, members are selected by a blue ribbon panel of attorneys that study the results provided by the NADC research team. Finally, a judicial review board, led by a group of former judges, weighs in on the candidates. Due to the incredible selectivity of this process, only the nation’s top one percent of attorneys are awarded membership in the NADC.
